We look forward to another exciting year of fun and action on the water and hope to see you come along and participate in our club activities as often as you can. This year the club sailing program features:
· Club Championship Races
· Short Course Races
· Prize Races and Handicap Start
· Training Weekends
· Club House open for training during week days
Of special interest is the following event for this year:
· Corsair State River Titles and Maroochy Head of River (Feb 14-15)
Membership Forms and Declarations have been posted out to members together with, a copy of the Sailing Program 2008-2009, and Notice of Race. Please note that
forms and fees are required by 31st August 2008 and it is greatly appreciated to get
these in on time as it saves continuous reprocessing of club details and documents. If
your have concerns or problems discuss these with Commodore John Pearce Ph 5445

A copy of all notices and forms can be found on the club website - click on the Documents tab. Please note some important details:
· Each member (social, youth, senior) must complete a membership declaration form.
· Members have a credit or debit on their application form, from records keep on race day Block Fees from last season, please advise if an error has been made.
· To reduce money handling on race days. Race day fees are paid up-front in blocks of $48 or more if you wish.
· Each Member is asked to place their name twice on the ROOD rooster found on the race day white board at the clubhouse.
· All documents (extra copies) can also be found on Club website - click on the Documents tab.
Please remember that the Club sends information and updates on events using email to stay in touch with members. We look forward to seeing you at the Open Day when the Club House will open at 9.00am 31th August. Always remember that you are welcome to use the club boats or come along and help with activities and we always need people willing to volunteer for the rescue boat. This year we would like to continue increasing our membership, so let people know about us, and let’s get more people on the water.
